CAN TWINS HAVE DIFFERENT BLOOD GROUPS?



Yes, in un-identical twins where the brother and sister will be in separate sack. each of these twins is the result of a separate egg being fertilized by a separate sperm. Therefore whatever is true for brothers and sisters, is true for fraternal twins too.  And since brothers and sisters will have totally different blood sorts, so too can fraternal twins.

It is a distinct story if the twins are identical.  Identical twins come from the same egg and the same sperm and so share nearly identical DNA.  For identical twins to own different blood types, something has to happen to 1 twin’s DNA.
